Automobile Miles Pushed Elevated 2.8% year-over-year in June

The Division of Transportation (DOT) reported:

Journey on all roads and streets modified by +3.1% (+8.4 billion automobile miles) for June 2023 as in contrast with June 2022. Journey for the month is estimated to be 283.0 billion automobile miles.

The seasonally adjusted automobile miles traveled for June 2023 is 268.9 billion miles, a 2.8% (7.4 billion automobile miles) change over June 2022. It additionally represents a -0.2% change (-0.4 billion automobile miles) in contrast with Might 2023.

Miles pushed declined sharply in March 2020, and actually collapsed in April 2020.  Miles pushed are actually barely under pre-pandemic ranges.
