Weekly Preliminary Unemployment Claims lower to 205,000

The DOL reported:
Within the week ending January 7, the advance determine for seasonally adjusted preliminary claims was 205,000, a lower of 1,000
from the earlier week’s revised degree. The earlier week’s degree was revised up by 2,000 from 204,000 to 206,000. The
4-week shifting common was 212,500, a lower of 1,750 from the earlier week’s revised common. The earlier week’s
common was revised up by 500 from 213,750 to 214,250.
